World Happiness Day Carnival for Salaam Balaak Trust

I, alongside Middle School Co-ordinator of Fazlani L’academie Globale founder of the Just Be Kind (JBK) Club, Miss Tasneem Dohadwalla, spearheaded the Happiness Carnival, a community-driven event dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive experiences for underprivileged children of Salaam Baalak Trust. The initiative brought together volunteers, educators, and partner organisations to host a vibrant day filled with art, games, music, and shared meals. I was deeply involved in every stage—from ideation and outreach to logistics and on-ground coordination. The goal was not just to entertain, but to foster a safe space where children felt seen, valued, and celebrated. This experience strengthened my leadership, empathy, and ability to manage teams and partnerships with purpose and passion.
